Replace the WordPress logo with your company’s on your website’s login page

Why do that?

Not only it will look better and more professional to display your company’s logo on the login page but it will also link to the home page of your website when clicked.

So why should you do that?

Maybe it’s for your own pleasure, you’d like this login page to look good.

But let’s say you actually offer a member’s only section on your website where individuals with membership can have access to unique content. When they create their account and login, they will see the WordPress logo if you don’t change it!

While it may not be the end of the world, it could definitely look more professional to display your company’s logo instead.

How to change it

Depending on the theme you use, you may need to try different plugins but one that has worked very well on numerous websites Creative Elements Consulting Inc has designed is “login logo”.

Although it hasn’t been updated in a while, it’s a pretty simple plugin and does the job really well.

It asks you to create your logo as a PNG file format with a maximum width of 312 pixels for best results. Then, rename that file to “login-logo.png”, upload it to your wp-content folder and you’re set!
