Did you know Mac OS Sierra has brought Siri on your Mac?
You can now use your favorite virtual assistant you’ve been accustomed to on your iPhone to help you with numerous tasks on your Mac.
According to this article from Apple, here are just a few examples of the many things that you can ask Siri to do:
- “Show the PDFs in my Downloads folder”
- “How much free space do I have on my Mac?”
- “Play the top 40 jazz songs”
- “What’s the weather in Lake Tahoe?”
- “Show me all of the files I shared with Cecilia last week”
- “Search the web for images of the Eiffel Tower”
- “Find tweets from José Bautista”
- “FaceTime Victoria”
- “Add Laura to my 10 AM meeting”
- “How do you spell broccoli?”
- “Show my photos from yesterday”
- “What time is it in Monterrey, Mexico?”
You can even edit your question, keep Siri results in the Notification Center by clicking the “+” at the top of the results.

How to activate Siri on your Mac
Go to the black Apple on the top left corner of your display > System Preferences > Siri > find all Siri’s options.
